You COULD be right, but Musk very likely "does not care" as he stated in an interview with MSNBC in the summer. He basically quoted Princess Bride, by Saying, no matter what you do to me, "I don't care!" The European Union blocking or banning Twitter is suicide and the threats are saber rattling IMHO. He has no reason to do any of this as he could just as easily supported the cabal and done nothing and avoided all opposition and pain associated with it. He could have left Twitter alone and been JUST FINE>>> SO why did he, what did he have to gain? Just my thoughts.
